I overheared that all pokemon regins take place in japan. Thats a shock I thought they were made up places. This is the Saturn Region in Los Angels. A small school full of japanese students are training to be pokemon trainers. Please create your charcters

It doesn't really take place in Japan per se, but all of the regions are based on different areas of Japan. If you look at the maps of the regions and put a map of Japan next to it, you can actually see what regions are based on what. Northern Japan looks veeeery simular to Sinnoh.

Ookime,Mae-A 'dumb blonde' type.Shes very pretty,but happens to be an idiot.Likes extremely cute pokemon only,and for that purpose,she prevents pokemon from evolving.Basically goes along with whatever Fiona says.Hates anyone Fiona does,but her own 'rival' is anyone who tries to mess with Fiona.
 Likes wearing skirts,and pink,mostly.
Her first pokemon is Leafeon,because she thinks this is the 'cutest form'.She has one other;a Budew.
Ookime,Kiki-A 5 year old gym leader,whos skills are extremely sharpened.She can beat most adults,but has a very weird additude due to being Bi-Polar.Noone has been able to beat her.She always carrs her favorite bear,and has more smarts than her sister does.
Her first pokemon was an Eeve which she kept.She is a Normal-Type trainer.She has four others- a Lopunny,a Glameow,A Purugly,and a Teddiursa.
Naeko-A headstrong,rude,and cocky girl,she is a loyal friend to Akiko.She never lets anything get in the way of friendships.Shes very strong,too.
She Dark-Type trainer.She has Umbreon,a Gengar,a Mismagius,and a Drifblim.Gym Leader.
Moske,Kurt-A very nice,and kind boy who thinks life couldn't be any better.Has a crush on Naeko,but has Mae chasing him.He is a Gym Leader,and specilizes in electric types.his pokemon are-Jolteon,Voltrob,Raichu,and Pikachu.
